Women in Leadership Group

Overview

The DFK International Women in Leadership (IWIL) Special Interest Group was formed on International Women’s Day in 2018. The Group comprises members from across DFK International who meet regularly to plan upcoming projects, discuss how to make the association more inclusive, and explore ways to support women in their career progression.

A key initiative of the Group is the DFK IWIL Mentoring Programme, which fosters relationships through one-to-one confidential conversations. The programme encourages and challenges mentees to achieve their potential and aspirations, and provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing women in the workplace and how to navigate them. The Group continues to champion female inclusion and progression across DFK International.

The International Women in Leadership Special Interest Group is dedicated to supporting, developing and connecting women across DFK. Through initiatives such as our annual Mentorship Programme, Marching Through March fundraising campaign and global knowledge-sharing discussions, we aim to inspire future leaders, foster meaningful connections, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
