Overview
The Transfer Pricing Sub-Group of DFK’s International Tax Group brings together members with expertise in transfer pricing and those looking to build knowledge in this increasingly complex area of international tax. As transfer pricing rules tighten across jurisdictions and tax authorities become more assertive, the Group provides a forum for sharing insight, practical solutions and global perspectives.
Members meet throughout the year to exchange updates from their regions, collaborate on technical content, and contribute to joint initiatives. These have included global handbooks outlining jurisdiction-specific transfer pricing rules, a local file template, technical articles, and tools to support client onboarding. The Group also facilitates collaboration on research databases and software tools relevant to transfer pricing professionals.
Discussions range from global policy shifts and regulatory developments to emerging issues such as e-commerce, cross-border investment trends and economic reform impacts. Current initiatives include the development of a concise client summary document, a standardised client intake questionnaire and new digital resources for members.
Meet the Chair
Ben Miller
Transfer pricing has become one of the most demanding areas of international tax, and no single firm can stay on top of it alone. That’s what makes this Sub-Group so valuable – the willingness of members to share what they’re seeing in their own jurisdictions and turn it into practical resources for everyone. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and my aim is to keep the Group a place where any DFK member – whether a transfer pricing specialist or just starting to build expertise – can ask practical questions and get answers grounded in real experience.
