Global Executive Office

As the Executive Officer for APAC/ANZ, I look after DFK members throughout the Asia Pacific region and across the DFK National Group in Australia and New Zealand. This includes developing and delivering strategic and operational initiatives that strengthen member relationships, attract new firms, and ensure existing members remain connected and actively involved. Whether supporting prospective member firms, helping existing members maximise the value of their membership, or delivering programs and activities that keep our community connected, my goal is to create an exceptional member experience and ensure every member feels supported, valued, and engaged within the DFK community.

Before joining DFK International, Bill was a Principal with the DFK member firm in San Francisco, where he was responsible for client mergers and acquisitions and the firm’s business development activities. He had previously been a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Vice President at Daiwa Bank, and a Corporate Banking Officer at Bank of America. Bill is a member of the Institute of Directors in London, has held board roles at the Association for Corporate Growth in San Francisco, and was an adjunct professor of accounting at Golden Gate University.

Bill earned a Master’s degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. Bill was born in Japan, has lived in the United States and the United Kingdom, and has travelled to 35 countries. He and his wife reside in Ohio, United States.

As Global Executive Officer and Conference Manager, I am responsible for member engagement, business development and growth across DFK International. My role includes recruiting new member firms in strategically important markets, managing international referrals and helping members build valuable connections across the alliance.

I also oversee all DFK global and regional conferences, including the Emerging Leaders Conference and Global Leadership Academy, creating opportunities for members, managers and new partners to build relationships, share knowledge and strengthen their international connections. My aim is to ensure every member feels real value from their membership by creating opportunities to connect, collaborate, share knowledge and support clients internationally through trusted relationships across the association.

As Membership Relationship Officer and EMEA Executive Officer, I support DFK International’s member firms and help strengthen engagement across the association, with a particular focus on the EMEA region. My role involves building relationships with members, supporting regional committees and special interest groups and initiatives, and helping develop opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development. I also work closely with member firms to understand their needs, encourage greater involvement in DFK activities, and ensure they make the most of the resources and opportunities available through the association.

As Company Accountant, I manage the organisation’s day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations and help ensure that our finances are accurate, well managed, and compliant. My role includes preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing clear financial insight to guide decision-making. I work closely with colleagues across the organisation to maintain strong financial controls, improve processes, and support the continued delivery of our services.

As Global Quality Control Manager, I support DFK International’s Board with the development and execution of its quality strategy. This includes reviewing member firms’ annual declarations to confirm compliance with our Members Agreement, and performing due diligence on prospective new member firms.

As Global Marketing Director, I look after DFK International’s brand and communications worldwide. That means managing our website and social media, producing member and conference communications, and creating resources and promotional materials for members to use in their own markets – while ensuring everything we publish is consistent and aligned to the DFK brand. Whether developing strategies to engage prospective member firms or helping existing members stay connected, my aim is to make the association easy to engage with, wherever you are in the world.

As Membership Coordinator, I support the day-to-day operations of DFK International. My role includes supporting the DFK International Board, Members Council and Special Interest Groups, coordinating new member onboarding, assisting with international conferences, managing our CRM, and supporting the DFK Quality Control Programme. I work closely with member firms and colleagues across the association to ensure our operations run smoothly and that members receive an efficient, professional and engaging experience.

As Latin America Regional Officer, I serve as the main point of contact for DFK member firms across South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. I manage membership engagement in the region, oversee the annual Latin America conferences, and coordinate the receipt and distribution of referrals among member firms in the region. My role is focused on keeping members connected, supported, and aligned with DFK International’s standards, while ensuring the region remains active and collaborative within the association.
