An accountancy, auditing, legal and tax advisory firm in Spain has been recognised for its contribution to DFK EMEA at the region’s annual conference.

BNFIX has been announced as the winner of the DFK EMEA Firm of the Year Award 2022 at the DFK EMEA Annual and Young Professionals Conference held in Manchester.

The accolade is presented to the firm which has contributed the most to the positive development of the region throughout the year.

BNFIX, which has been a member firm since 2011, has been actively involved in a range of DFK committees including tax, consulting, audit and assurance, valuation in special interest, marketing and the International Women in Leadership Committee and has contributed to DFK mentoring programmes.

Colleagues also regularly attend DFK conferences, and the firm encourages its young professionals to attend relevant conferences and training to support their development and educate them about the association.

Alba Pich, of BNFIX, was the firm representative attending the EMEA Young Professionals Conference who accepted the award.

José María Hinojal and María José Moragas of BNFIX, said: “It is fantastic that this year’s annual DFK EMEA Annual and Young Professionals Conference in Manchester was held in-person, and being selected as EMEA Firm of the Year was the icing on the cake.

We are incredibly proud to have been presented with the award in recognition of our work and contribution to DFK.

DFK International is an extremely important association which gives us an international presence, enabling us to not only keep up to date with international regulations and standards, but refer clients to likeminded professionals who share our values as well as offer our services in Spain to the clients of other member firms.

Covid-19 has meant member firms have experienced a very difficult time both professionally and personally, and we also extend our thoughts to our colleagues in Ukraine.

We would like to thank DFK International for our award, and look forward to make a positive impact on the association in support of our fellow member in the future.”
